  • Firstly, most of my clients have never seen a naturopath before. So you’re not alone.

    I love being the first (I get to make those good impressions and give you an incredible holistic health experience!).

    But, back to the question of expectations…

    THE SHORT ANSWER

    • A holistic overhaul. An approach that brings together evidence-based natural therapies, your individuality, and my clinical experience.

    THE LONGER ANSWER

    • A holistic overhaul, that is likely to encompass a comprehensive health history and health goals, your pathology, your biometrics, you as a person (your personality, values, and beliefs) and so much more!

    • A holistic, personalised treatment plan: I tend to focus on using lifestyle and nutritional strategies to optimise your health as these are the most powerful long-term strategies, but I may also prescribe herbal medicine, personalised compounding, and nutraceuticals, to get the best results for you. I also like to collaborate with other practitioners and may provide you with referrals as needed.

    • My goal is to get to the root of your health concerns and to provide insight into what is going on for you. I take time before and after your consult to evaluate your full presentation and I endeavour to provide you with a practical path forward to optimising your health.

    • Naturopathy is unregulated, so PLEASE ensure you are seeing a naturopath who is degree-qualified and registered with a recognised natural health association such as ATMS or ANTA.

    Step #2

    Use the email link you received from me to sign in to your personal Practice Better account.

    Step #3 - PRIORITY - Must be completed prior to your initial consult

    Complete your Initial Intake Form. You'll receive a separate email with the link to complete your Initial Intake Form. OR, you can access your form directly through the Practice Better platform on your personal account via your phone or desktop.

    Step #4

    Complete your DASS21 form and share the results with me. You'll receive a separate email with the link to complete your DASS21. OR, you can access your form directly through the Practice Better platform on your personal account via your phone or desktop.

    Step #5

    Upload any recent pathology to your Practice Better account in the "documents" section.

  • This is a question I get asked a lot! I have a feeling a few of my clients may eventually choose to study naturopathy…

    I studied at Endeavour college of Natural Health, completing my Bachelor’s of Health Science (Naturopathy) with Distinction. Torrens university also offers the Naturopathy degree.

    I want to do my absolute best for my clients (and I also LOVE learning) so I have continued to invest in further private professional development (definitely exceeding my actual CPE needed each year, lol).

 FAQs - CURRENT CLIENTS

  • To access your Treatment Plan from Talitha:

    Step #1

    Download the Practice Better App from the app store. Google Play Store. Apple App Store.

    Step #2

    Go to your emails and look for the invitation email from Talitha that will have a direct link to your Practice Better account. Click the link.

    Step #3

    Create your Password and account.

    Congratulations! You should now have access to your Treatment Plans (Protocols), bookings, tracking tools, and/or any exclusive features (E.g. Health Hub if you are signed up for a premium program with Talitha).

  • Upload your pathology directly onto your Practice Better account under the “documents” section. Your practitioner (Talitha) will be notified and will have access to your pathology to evaluate as needed.

    PLEASE NOTE: If you have multiple pathology reports from over the years, before uploading, please organise your pathology into separate PDFs for each collection draw report and date them clearly in a consistent manner. (E.g. Pathology Jane Smith 12-5-2018, Pathology Jane Smith 20-1-2021, Pathology Jane Smith 3-5-2023, etc.)

    If your pathology is disorganised, I may ask you to organise it and re-upload. : )

  • Via Practice Better if you have short questions regarding your treatment plan.

    If you are needing a little more than “yes”, “no”, or a clarifying answer, please book in for a 15 min call or follow up consult so that I may support your fully.

    I love to build connections through social media (absolutely follow me and send me a friend request!), but these are NOT the platforms to discuss your private health information. Ensure to keep your personal health questions to Practice Better (or email to talitha@optimowellness.com.au if you have difficulty using the Practice Better app).

  • Step # 1

    Check your emails. You will have an exclusive prescription link from Talitha.

    Step # 2

    For best results, use Google chrome to access your account.

    Step # 3

    Create your account password. You may need to use the “forgotten password” process.

    Step # 4

    Once you are in your account, you should be able to access any personalised prescriptions from Talitha. To access your prescriptions, click “view”. You will also have access to discounted retail health products through your exclusive account.

    Step # 5

    If you are still having trouble accessing your account, call Rener directly at 08 9311 6800. The Rener team is super helpful!!
